Great manual, nearly as good as the set of factory manuals. Many times better than the Haynes manual – you can do anything to your 911 using this book. Just great.

One of the best 911 books out there. Surprisingly clear and easy to read. If you have not pulled down his 911 motor he always thought, "I'd be left to the professionals" to read this book. This show, with lots of great pictures, as it all step by step manner and gives confidence in the solution of your engine. I read this book then bought a 911 for my other five Friends and since then take full rebuilds. If you only buy two books, it should be one and ten'101 projects to 911. "

Except for factory books this is the best there is. Along with the technical discussions on the PCA web site this is all you’ll ever need.

Wayne Dempsey has done it again: the perfect birthday present. This and "101 project" for Porsche are "requirements" for all the aging of the aircooled 911 and capable of holding the key. I found "101 project" after the first 96 to do mine. "Engines 911" includes that which is beyond the "101". Even if it can not / will not work on the engine itself, it helps to ask the right question. Because of the many factory upgrades, plus the fact that usually an official business wants to sell new cars and will not allow access to the Greasemonkey who the real work, and that the manager is primarily interested in management (working with the mining and monkey money from you), it is essential to the owner of 911 to get even older. Asking many questions is not what he likes manager, and most will get the answers stopgap. Dempsey color photos really explain in detail and the shots where it is. His text, clear, short sentences, forward "Napoleon's corporal" proofreading. He is not in a hurry – the text covers all this, patiently and without shortcuts. U.S. centered (but that is where 50% of all Porsches residence), the author provides specialized services and sources of hard-to-get parts. Get it, or ask him for Christmas. This is a nice juicy read.

What to do when a combination of journalist, disc jockey and pianist? Top Gear! Best British comedy Televison hit the air waves since the 1970's hit "The Good Life." Top Gear is hosted by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May in one hour three mates can be hilarious, rollicking adventure through the world of cars. Within each episode there is the performance of the car works with the audio-visual driver of a comment by Celebrity car runs around the Top Gear track, performance car tests by the elusive, mystery man "The Stig", "Cool Wall", where Jeremy and Richard Rental rates depending on the category of "cool and uncool" based on performance / style of the car, and a challenge for the team to perform. The best feature of the show are the "road trips and the challenges of" the team were all over the world. Our particular favorite is the family of "Top Gear Cycling in Vietnam", which was the season finale for the season 2009.

Offers information very informative and very descriptive. Even if you do not, I will perform an engine overhaul, this guide offers descriptions (including photos) on each step … not only for repairs, but almost every faccet of maintenance and repairs Miantenance Porsche Boxster. I would like to highly recommend this guide! Simply perform regular routine maintenance work on my Porsche with the use of this guide basically paid for itself in its first use (if you ever owned a Porsche and used to bring it to the dealership, you should know what costs are associated with regular routine maintenance work at the Porsche dealership ). Just keep your receipts and make repairs to the vehicle in its normal 30k/60k routine medical checks and guarantees should remain in force. This will also lead to the eyes, that any problems are caught early and can make repairs yourself.

I have not gone through full details of reading the book, but will make you feel more confident in rebuilding the engine. It also will make you more tired on the run since it shows how much effort must be made to elaborate to avoid leakage of crude oil in the future. What I do not like about this book is that it makes you have to buy his other books (101 projects for Porsche), if you do not know how to remove the engine. Removing porsche engine requires more work than if a small block chevy, need to raise the car and remove the engine from underneath. I do not see why the author simply does not contain a number of additional pages in this book, as is required in order to rebuild the engine.

As the owner, I am a bit biased. But like the book, a great table book with lots of pictures. Good information on the car, from the original project, in the process of taking the car to what it is. I recommend this book, especially for Cayman owners. But who likes cars and porsches should enjoy it as well.
